Sept Gathering & Ride to CA2N's Rally

It was a very nice early and short meeting this month as we wanted to get an early start for our ride to Long Barn, CA and the Froggies Rally. Still, it was fun with a very nice surprise for Shirley and I when we arrived to see a couple of new faces. Ken Ayers was invited to join us through his connection with Victor Tibbs. He came in his 2004 Titanium Goldwing that he's had for about six months. Jaime Patlan found us through our website and lives nearby in Livermore. He came in his 2004 Black Cherry Wing that he's had only for a short time too.

The weather couldn't have been anymore perfect. It was a very pleasant ride up to Long Barn and the clear mountain air is always refreshing. Seeing our friends from around the District so soon after the District Rally is always nice and strengthens our bond with the rest of the State. The food was great and 2Q did pretty good again with the prizes this year.

Overall; a very nice day for socializing with a very pleasant ride.
