Another special gathering that included a visit from our new District Directors Bill & Rene Johnson. They brought along a good number of their District Staff including Nick Riolo, Jerry & Donna Kougel, Les & Moya Valdez and Lee Spencer. We were also swarmed by Krows from 2K. CD Nick O'Dell brought with him a good number of his folks too. Including ACD George & Kathy Sieg. It wasn't all fun and games (actually, it was). There was also the ceremony of installing this year's CA2Q COY & IOY. The honored winners were Bill & Linda Androws (COY) and Bruce Howland (IOY).
It was an almost perfect meeting... Perfect until I was again hog tied with yet another "Wingnut" award! My latest infraction was due to the vague language on the website about the gathering time for breakfast. This resulted in an earlier departure time for many of our visitors by... oh, at least fifteen minutes. :-( I was, I suppose justly nominated by our good buddy Tom Jefferies as he was one of those who lost his extra few minutes of bliss.
The after-meeting ride was cancelled due to rain. Or, at least the fear of it. Only three bikes showed up and only two were willing riders. It was decided that we would save the ride for another day.
