A very nice August gathering. It's good seeing Dirk & Wilna Schatts as well as Sunny Montgomery at the meeting. It's been awhile since they've been able to join us. It was a pleasant meeting with Bob Hole recounting his ride for a meal in the Colorado area with Mark Kratz and Cecilia Roberts. Lynda Sciacqua recounted her safari trip to South Africa and earning herself a Wingnut for breaking her camera on her very first day. And Don Kuellmer also had a story to tell about his long weekend ride.
There were a couple of new toys and one "refreshed" in the parking lot. Don & Beth Kuellmer came in with their new "experienced" 2003 GL1800. Susie Coles brought in her refreshed trailer color and themed to match her Disney fantasy bike. And I brought in my new "Unigo" trailer.
The after meeting ride was to Drake's bay Oyster farm for a picnic. The group included eight bikes with Shirley & Alan, Bruce & Susan, Tim & Robin, Jack & Sunny, Bob Hole, Bill Androws, Don & Beth and Rich & Linda.
