Bob Hole put together a ride to try out one of Guy Fieri's restaurant called Johnny Garlic's up at Santa Rosa, CA. As usual he makes sure the weather was just right; and it was. A gorgeous day to be on the two wheels. Shirley and I arrived at the appointed meeting place and found Rich Sciacqua waiting and we were soon joined by Bob & Sue. The route Bob put together was of course perfect as he always does. We arrived at the restaurant in about two hours.
Johnny Garlic's was a nice enough restaurant but a little pricey. I had one of their American Kobe beef burger and found it just okay. Rich and Bob also had a burger too but enjoyed theirs much better than I did. However, the garlic fries that came with the my meal was the best I've ever had. Sue had a salad and Shirley had a pasta dish that she also enjoyed.
After lunch Bob & Sue and Rich took off for home. Shirley and I headed for San Francisco via Hwy 1.
All in all, a great day for a cycle ride, converse with friends and have a nice meal.
