This year's CAC rally was held at Mather Regional Park in Mather, CA. It was a very nice park that even had a pond nearby for fishing. It was another great event that drew a good number of District Chapters. I believe they had almost two hundred in attendance.
I met Jack Fischer, Sunny Montgomery and Mark Trademan at Carrows' restaurant parking lot Saturday morning for the ride up to Mather. Shirley was unable to join us as she had to take our five year old puppy to the Vet for another exam of his troubled paw. After arriving at the rally and having just a short time to say hello to folks, I got a call from Shirley explaining that the Vet had discovered another issue with Pat. So I left early and missed most of the fun. I understand Sunny won a set of tires and being that it was from JBJ Cycles and she and Jack didn't really want to travel down to southern Cal to redeem the prize, she opted to sell it to someone at the rally.
