It was the first chance for most of us to see Rich and Linda Sciacqua's new Trike, and it certainly is beautiful. The independent suspension is great as it absorbs the bumps much better than their 1500 Trike. A major benefit for Linda with her back issue. We had a total of seven bikes ride up to Columbia State Park. Besides Rich and Linda Sciacqua, there was Shirley and me, Bruce and Susan, Bill and Linda and Dirk Schaats came along for the ride up to the park. We picked up John and Edie at Farmington on the way. Dirk couldn't stay for a tour of the Park as he was set to meet Wilna somewhere in the area. Columbia is a neat gold rush town well preserved from it's days in the 1800's. We happen to be there during "Tent Town", a celebration of how the town was originally settled. There were folks dressed up in period garb and an area with replicas of tent cabins. Although most of us didn't really get to see it as there was an entrance fee. It was also later in the afternoon and our bellies were full from a very nice meal from Devon's delectables and later Ice Cream! So, needless to say most were feeling a little less than enthusiastic about more walking. Overall, another excellent outing. - Alan
